Ray Zuker remembers the terror of facing death when at war while facing the terror of major surgery on his Aorta in old age. He tells the story of his war years mixed with memories of his early life. Having survived both occasions when he faced the Dark Angel, in war and in surgery, he relates events of his later life, including a return to England with his son Fred, to see the airfield from which he flew and Roley, the man who made a museum of the all things associated with the airfield. Fred Zuker would have done better summary than I just did. He is a much better writer than I!Look for Fred
